Tips for using Cirepil and eScentials waxes

Tips for using Cirepil and eScentials waxes

Usage Tips:

- Always wear gloves and change as needed.

4 Steps of Preparation for all Cirepil and eScentials waxes

1. Always test the temperature of wax on the inside of your wrist. Wax should be close to body temperature for maximum client comfort.
2. Prepare the area to be waxed with Antiseptic Blue Lotion Cleanser while examining the direction of the hair growth.
3. Progect the skin by massaging a very small amount of Pre-dep Jasmin Oil into the area to be waxed (one drop for the face and a few drops for larger areas.)
4. BLOT WITH TISSUE TO REMOVE EXCESS OIL.

STRIP WAX APPLICATION
For wax used with strips we recommend the following:
1. Using a disposable wooden spatula, scoop a small amount of wax, scrape/smooth the underside of the spatula against the tin to lessen dripping, turn spatula several rotations to disconnect from the tin of wax and lessen dripping.
2. Deposit the entire amount of wax onto the skin.  Place the edge of the spatula at a 90' angle away from you, glide the spatula on an angle toward you in the direction of the hair growth. This method will ensure a thin, even application.
3. Using a non-woven strip and light pressure, smooth the strip onto the area where wax was applied, stroking several times.  While remaining parallel and close to the skin, remove strip quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth.  To ensure client comfort, apply pressure to area waxed.
4. Repeat this process using a clean spatula - do not double dip. (Think veggies & dip at a party.)
5. To complete the service, re-wipe with Antiseptic Blue Lotion, then apply After Wax Refreshing Gel, and Moisturizing Lotion for a soothing, cooling and hydrating finish.

STRIP-LESS WAX APPLICATION
For strip-less wax application we recommend the following:
1. Using a disposable wooden spatula, scoop a quarter sized amount of wax from the tin; smooth/scrape the underside of the spatula against the tin, turn spatula several rotations to disconnect from the tin of wax and lessen dripping.
2. Deposit the entire amount of wax onto skin, using the edge of the spatula, spreand and apply pressure in the direction of the hair growth.  The narrow section of wax should be applied thin and even with a ridge around the perimeter for easy wax removal.
3. Be sure to allow time for the wax to set before removal. Body and room temperature may slow or speed the set up process for the wax. Holding the skin taught, lift the edge of the ridge and remove the wax parallel and close to the skin in the opposite direction of hair growth.
4. Repeat this process using a clean spatula - do not double dip. (Think veggies & dip at a party.)
5. To complete the service, re-wipe with Antiseptic Blue Lotion, then apply After Wax Refreshing Gel, and Moisturizing Lotion for a cooling, soothing and hydrating finish.
